My first attempt at writing a poem, War of Voices, received a place in the 2020 International Proverse Poetry Prize. It was published by Proverse Publishing and Chinese University Press in anthology Mingled Voices 5 April 2021. The book was launched at the 2021 Proverse Spring Reception at the Helena May in Hong Kong.
In 2021 I read War of Voices at an event organised by Proverse at the Hong Kong University Libraries Readers Club. In 2021 I was invited by Dr. Ahmed Elbeshlawy to read War of Voices on his Voice Your Passion poetry channel on YouTube.
