The London premiere of To Love A Narcissist will be held at the Everyman Cinema in London 8 May! The film, which I produced with Contro Vento Films, will be released in North America 19 May 2026 and worldwide three months later. Thanks to our distributors at Freestyle for organising. The film is listed as a new release in their thriller, drama and romance catalogues.

To Love A Narcissist will premiere at the Ariano International Film Festival 2025! The Italian premiere will be held at the Auditorium Lina Wertmüller di Ariano Irpino at 8.30pm Aug 1. The festival rewards filmmakers who have made a significant contribution to the history of Italian and international cinema and is a huge honour for Raff, whose family come from Ariano Irpino. A red carpet event Aug 3 will pay tribute to his work and be attended by some of the film’s stars: Lyndsey Marshal, Stephen Campbell-Moore and EP Sadie Frost. GRAZIE Ariano!

Next stops London and Hong Kong!

Excited to share that To Love A Narcissist, the film I’ve been producing with Contro Vento Films, will premiere at the New York Socially Relevant Film Festival (SRFF) 16 March at 7.30pm! This is the second time we have reached the competition stage of SRFF. We were honoured to receive a Special Jury Mention for Transference in 2020. With most of the world in lockdown then, the festival was held on zoom. This year, we’ll be zooming in the old-fashioned way! ✈️

Thank you SRFF for supporting our films and our vision to create a platform for those affected by the themes our films explore to connect and access support. 🙏🏽

Thanks to Variety for this nice piece about Sadie Frost joining our Contro Vento family as an executive producer on To Love A Narcissist, the history of Contro Vento since founder/director Raffaello Degruttola was BIFA-nominated for Flim, and where we boldly go next! I am proud to be producing this film with Raff and Bill Bossert. Thanks to reporter Naman Ramachandran for the much appreciated publicity and for explaining what Contro Vento means in Italian (we are full of wind).

Pitch Deck

Transference, the bipolar love story I co-produced in 2020 with Contro Vento Films, was one of the first films to be shown at the 2021 Arizona International Film Festival, which kicked off April 14! Director and actor Raffaello Degruttola gave an illuminating webinar on his inspirations behind the film on Zoom @ 3pm PST on Saturday. If you missed it, please don’t cry! You can still catch it on the festival’s YouTube channel for at least another week!

Thanks to the festival for selecting Transference (originally for its 2020 film festival, which was cancelled because of COVID) and to the Tuscon Weekly for mentioning our micro budget indie film in their article about the festival!

Transference: A Bipolar Love Story received a Special Jury Mention in the Narrative Feature category at the New York Socially Relevant Film Festival! So proud of my involvement as a co-producer of this indie gem, directed by and starring the one and only Raffaello Degruttola. Congrats Raff! You can meet the filmmakers (including Raff) by subscribing to SRFF’s YouTube channel HERE!

Big thanks to @SR-FilmFestNY and the judges for recognizing our film. Congratulations to the cast & crew of Lorik for winning the category! And thanks to all of you who liked and shared my own and Mental Ideas’ posts about the festival on social media!

Next stop: the Arizona International Film Festival, where Transference has been selected in the Dramatic Feature category. The festival kicks off Oct 1st!
