To Love A Narcissist has been nominated for Best Feature by a film festival in New Zealand! The festival takes place Sept 13 – Nov 15, with selected films being shown at cinemas across NZ. The awards ceremony will be held at the Bridgeway Cinema in Aukland.
The film made headlines in Italy over the summer following its Italian premiere at the Ariano International Film Festival 2025, where director Raff was presented the Hirpus d’Oro award. 🫶
Thanks to Variety for this nice piece about Sadie Frost joining our Contro Vento family as an executive producer on To Love A Narcissist, the history of Contro Vento since founder/director Raffaello Degruttola was BIFA-nominated for Flim, and where we boldly go next! I am proud to be producing this film with Raff and Bill Bossert. There’s either something wrong with my eyes or Transference has topped 20M views on YouTube! I swear I was only responsible for one of these views! It’s mind-blowing a micro-budget film about a niche mental health topic like bipolar disorder can create a stir. Co-producing this indie film with one of my besties (director/actor Raffaello Degruttola) and his phenomenal cast & crew was honestly the best distraction I could ever have hoped for from the apocalypse of 2020-2022. Be bold and keep talking about mental health! Off to get my eyes tested – just in case. I may have to delete this post later.
