Excited to be one of the ambassadors taking part in Mind HK’s summer 2025 exhibition at Our Gallery, Wan Chai. Last summer’s Here and Now exhibition at the 3812 Gallery was epic! This one is called Listen to the Beat. My contribution is a handwritten letter. The last thing I wrote by hand was my signature – it was declined by my bank as illegible.

I’ll also be sharing my story in a panel alongside two other ambassadors this coming SAT (2 Aug) from 3.30-5pm. Tix are free but you must sign up! The exhibition is open 1-15 Aug. If you’re sweating in the city this summer, swing by!

I discovered I’d been nominated for a GHP Mental Health Award a few weeks ago for my contribution via Mental Ideas and Bipolar Hong Kong. Well, apparently I’ve won ‘Most Dedicated Mental Health Advocate 2025’ (Hong Kong)! 😂 🙏🏼

Thanks to everyone who’s given me a platform to rant and muse about mental health, especially Mind HK and RTHK. It’s a lovely way to celebrate the 10th birthday of Bipolar Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 🩷

Tickets are now on sale for the Women in Publishing Society‘s launch of their annual anthology, Imprint 23, at the Hong Kong Literary Festival 2025! Two of my short stories (a humorous piece and an essay on mental health) have slithered their way into this year’s anthology and I’m delighted to be invited to read (the humorous piece) at the event. Last year I read The Snide Sniper and the year before that it was Bake Fail. Fingers crossed this year’s attendees are just as appreciative. And by appreciative I mean inebriated.

Join me and the women with WiPS for a literary hotpot celebrating women’s diverse voices at the FCC 5 March from 7pm!

Like a champion racehorse that won’t stop running, Transference has surpassed another incredible milestone! It has been viewed over 26 million times on YouTube (it was featured by the Times for having ‘gone viral‘ after chalking up half this amount.) Even though the film is free on YouTube, we can’t wait to see it on the big screen again in a celebration screening at Sanctum Soho and to see where our follow up film To Love A Narcissist takes us in 2025! Happy NY!

Thanks to Mind HK and Mindset for creating an opportunity for Mind HK ambassadors to share our stories and photography at the ‘Here and Now’ exhibition at the 3812 Gallery in August! The exhibition connected our mental health recovery stories to our photographs of places in Hong Kong that inspired a turning point.

The event was a collaboration with lovely local artist Erin Hung (pictured below) whose collection of bold posters were inspired by our stories and highlight of the event! Look out for Erin’s posters on the MTR! Better still, take a snap and tag #MindHongKong and #MTAL (More Than A Label) on Insta to spread positive messages about mental health in Hong Kong! 🙏🏼

Thanks soooooo much to Mind HK’s Vicki T’Sang for making and sending me this reel of exhibition goers viewing my contribution to the exhibition! 🫶🏼 To read what they’re reading, click here!

Thanks to Mind HK for organising an evening of storytelling and poetry inspired by mental health with me and fellow ambassadors Vish and Derek at the Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery 4 March! Unbelievably, this Hong Kong International Literary Festival event sold out before I had a chance to write a post about it! 😮 Not even I have a ticket! 🤣

Happily, tickets ARE still available for Mind HK‘s Conversations of the Heart event at Tai Kwun Sat 24 Feb! Vish, Derek and I will be among the ambassadors sharing stories and poems from 10.30-11.30am. I promise you Vish is off-the-scale, Derek is a rising star, and I am Poet Laureate of my bathroom. You can get tickets here!

We are just the warm up act for a whole day of inspiring talks, panel discussions and presentations by awesome Mind staff and other ambassadors. I will be there all day. Hope to see you there!

What better day to let slip I am producing a film called To Love A Narcissist than Valentine’s! To Love A Narcissist is another obsessive love story by Raffaello Degruttola where trust is weaponised. Our last film collaboration Transference went viral on YouTube and has now been viewed over 23M times. This one stars the magnetic Lyndsey Marshal alongside Raff and a stellar supporting cast that includes Sule Rimi, Stephen Campbell-Moore and Andrea Lowe. You can follow the film @Contro Vento Films and toloveanarcissist.com.

Join me and Mind HK for an inspiring day of poetry, stories and panel discussions at Tai Kwun, Central, on Sat 24 Feb! I will be among the first Mind HK ambassadors sharing their stories and poetry in the first event of the day, which has been organised by Mind and Mindset on the theme of Conversations of the Heart.

Please click on the link below to book tickets on Eventbrite! I will be there all day so if you’re going, please find me and say hi! Hope to see you there!

I will also be sharing poetry and stories alongside fellow ambassadors Vish and Derek at a Mind HK event at the Hong Kong Lit Fest 4 March!
