On this week’s episode Mat Ricardo reminisces about the time he was starting out as a street performer and a member of the public walked onto his pitch and took a dump. Left to raise the tone (uh-oh…) Trollywood actor Dan Davies gives a moving account of his own experiences with internet trolls. Only he has another word for them… and he uses it a lot…

Stunned to have been awarded International Broadcaster of The Year by the National Independent Film Association (NIFA), USA. Other recipients include Tom Sizemore, Sean Connery and… no, I am not making this sh*t up!!! Check out the Film Forte! Thanks NIFA! ❤ ❤ ❤
A good week, as I survived a panel discussion with the CEOs of HSBC and Mind HK to celebrate World Mental Health Day. (Talking about my bipolar with my bank?? What could possibly go wrong!) Thanks to Vincent Chow for inviting me, my fellow panelists and moderator Christina Yung! Very excited Christina will be joining me as a guest on the Mental Ideas Podcast Nov 4! #mentalideaspodcast
Miss Adventure is set to go globetrotting in a 6-part travelogue series for GMI. The Trotssees the aspiring adventurer visit some of the world’s least desirable holiday destinations along with her fake crew in a comedy series constructed around improvisation.
The Mental Ideas Podcast is a series of podcasts in which Miss Adventure’s shady second cousin, twice removed, Sadie Kaye explores innovative approaches to tackling mental health with an eclectic mix of local and international guests, many of whom are from the worlds of entertainment, film, the arts & charity. The podcast launches as a weekly strand of RTHK Radio 3‘s 123 Showin 2020. Gentleman juggler and showman Mat Ricardo presents a number of outstanding slots!
Miss Adventure is a completely made up fictional character. She was born in 2012, when New York indie Summerhill TV produced an improvised skit with rock band Motorhead at Madison Square Garden. The episode aired on Funny or Die, where it (briefly) became FoD’s ‘Highest Rated Video – All Time‘. For the past few years, ‘Miss Adventure’ has shambled her way through regular comedy broadcasts on RTHK Radio 3. Any resemblance to Sadie Kaye is purely in your head, although they did meet once at a riot in Repulse Bay.
