My latest humour column for RTHK Radio 3 aired Oct 28 – 48 hours later than usual, thanks to Noz spacing out (her words, not mine, as I’m in no position to call anyone out for being ‘spacey’). This means Sharp Pains will be back 48 hours sooner in November!

This one’s a scratchy one and called Cats… It’s relatively inoffensive (apart from to Cat People obvs).

I received an unexpected early Christmas present this week! The South China Morning Post will be publishing THREE of my humorous short stories in the Long Reads section of the festive edition of Post Magazine Dec 12th! 🙌

Sharp Pains is back on RTHK Radio 3 next Tuesday (Oct 25) with brand new episode, Cats (a yowler) …

My psychedelic poem War of Voices just landed on the Voice Your Passion poetry channel! Thanks to wordsmith extraordinaire Dr. Ahmed Elbeshlawy for the kind introduction and for inviting me to read. His latest poetry collection Unappeasable Ghosts is a precious gem and I can’t wait to interview him for a new podcast series exploring the mercurial relationship between mental health and imagination.

You can listen to me reading War of Voices for VYP below and buy the poetry anthology in which the poem was first published here! All the other poets on the channel are phenomenal so please don’t forget to subscribe!!! And if poetry’s not your vibe, Sharp Pains will be debuting on VYP soon! (That should sufficiently lower the tone! 🤣)

Excited to have been invited to perform an episode of my RTHK humour column Sharp Pains on Australian radio network CBAA‘s Breakfast Show. I’ll also be chatting to the show’s presenters about fighting mental health challenges with humor. Big thanks to CBAA‘s Abe Killian for inviting me! We’ve not fixed a date yet so keep checking this space for details of how you can tune in live or download it as a podcast!

Sharp Pains has been running on RTHK Radio 3’s 123 Show for A YEAR!!! Some episodes have been published by the South China Morning Post and inspired a collection of short stories for two anthologiesThe first, After the Storm, is set to be published by the Hong Kong Writers Circle and launched at the 2021 Hong Kong International Literary Festival Nov 12.

My latestskewed humour column aired Aug 31 @ 2.30 HKT on RTHK Radio 3‘s fantabulous 123 Show, where smooth-talker James Ross was filling in for the legendary Noreen Mir. Get well soon, Noz!!! 💜

This one’s a hairy one and called Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

This one’s a sticky one and called Bake Fail. (Although it was technically introduced by Noreen Mir as a Fake Bail. 🤣)

Excited to be joining the brilliant Noreen Mir on RTHK Radio 3‘s 123 Show talking about Home Kong Kitchen, which recently celebrated its first birthday and received a Happy Homes Award from the Mission For Migrant Workers!

Meanwhile, catch me performing my regular humour column Sharp Pains (the last episode was rather timely and aptly called Bake Fail) and get ready for the return of Mental Ideas on RTHK Radio 3!

Last month’s humour column broadcasted on RTHK Radio 3 April 27! Apologies for the delay in getting it up! This one’s a painful one and called Scrub…

Sharp Pains will be back on RTHK Radio 3 TOMORROW @ 2.50pm HKT with filthy new episode Tea Bag. Look out for Scrub as an upcoming column in the SCMP‘s Post Mag!
